Nowadays, we have been able to see how economic immigrants and war refugees flee from armed conflicts and persecutions. But experts warn that soon there will be a climate immigration, as a consequence of global warming. At the University of the Balearic Islands, an interdisciplinary working group has been established, composed by more than sixty experts, with the aim of studying in depth the effects of climate change on islands around the world.
