Climate change is a major concern in the Balearic Islands. That is why the UIB intends to establish a permanent group of researchers focused on the interdisciplinary study on the topic before the end of the current year. It will be composed of experts in economics, tourism, law, philosophy, and meteorology. Among them, is the Minorcan meteorologist Agustí Jansà.
