The seminar «El Dret a la ciutat: Subjectes i conflictes en la societat actual», coordinated by the Research Group on Practical Philosophy (PRAXIS) of the University of the Balearic Islands, will take place in Palma, Majorca, on the 23th of March.
Many interesting topics will be discussed, such as urbanism as a way of life, the representations of Palma and Mallorca in literature, the organization of the territory and housing issues, among others.
The seminar is organized within the framework of the PUBLIC research project «Public sphere and emerging subjects» (FFI2016-75603-R, AEI/FEDER, UE), in collaboration with the research groups on Sustainability and territory (GIST) and Contemporary literature: theoretical and comparative studies (LiCETC), the Institute of Anthropology of the Balearic Islands, the City Council of Palma and Can Balaguer.
